Fellow, Partnership for Social Initiative One of the founders of the Partnership for Social Initiative, Valeri Chkadua is Professor of English at Tbilisi Technical State University. He also serves as English Trainer for CERMA, a program administered under the Marshall Plan. Mr. Chkadua brings to PSI a superb knowledge of English and a keen understanding of international relations, having worked as the Head of the Information Department at the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as Head of the Translation Section at the Soviet Embassy in New Delhi. Mr. Chkadua also has private sector experience, having served as President of Sindbad Co. Ltd. In addition to Georgian and English, Mr. Chkadua is fluent in Russian and Italian.
